One of the things I love about being a photographer is the many styles in which clients wish to have themselves captured. Fine Art maternity is one of them. Chelsea also decided that having a few lifestyle images would be fun as well and show off her unique socks. And that’s what we did.
We went through the selection of maternity gowns in studio and choose a few that would give a variety of looks to show off that wonderful baby bump. I think we succeeded in creating some beautiful Fine Art maternity images for her and Eric.
I can’t say enough as to how much I love being able to capture that little delicate life growing inside a woman. It’s truly a miracle that some are blessed to experience for themselves. Unfortunately, not all women are able to carry a baby to full term and many are not even able to conceive. For those of us that can, it’s such a beautiful experience. I can only imagine the heartbreak the women who cannot conceive their own child feel. However, whether you bring your own child into this world naturally, whether you use IVF, whether you use a surrogate mother, or whether you adopt, adding a child to your family is such a joyous occasion and ever so special. No matter how the child starts its life off here on earth, that child is loved more than any parent could ever expect they could love. And it’s not just the parents who adore that child long before he or she arrives, it’s the siblings, it’s the grandparents, the aunt’s and uncles. Adding to our families and nurturing those children is one of the most precious gifts we could ever be given.
So regardless of how your child is being brought into your family, I can offer you a variety of photographic styles to capture that milestone. Whether you prefer a Fine Art portrait, a lifestyle session in your home, an outdoor session or even a combination, I love capturing the memories. Fathers, siblings and even your surrogate mother can be incorporated into the session.
