Meet the O’Neil Family

The O’Neil family were so set on having their photos completed today that they decided to go ahead despite the potential of rain.  It’s funny how the weather goes.  On my drive there it was raining and I figured it would be following me out, but instead it went right around us…and it was only a ten minute drive.  I’m so glad we went ahead with the session.  I actually love the rain.  Especially when I can sit out on a covered porch with a cup of tea.

Meeting the O’Neil family was such a pleasure and I loved that the location they chose was their family farm.  I feel that when choosing a location, using one that has meaning to you makes your portraits that much more special.  The O’Neil family has had this farm in their possession for many years so I was glad they decided to have me come to their home.  It was so much fun hanging out with them and chatting and I have to say that Jim is such a warm and friendly man I could have stayed and chatted for hours.

Enjoy their sneak peak.

Sometimes I just can’t decide if I prefer color or black and white for an image, so I do both.
