Baby Caelyn has arrived and she’s just beautiful !
Chelsea and Eric are so excited to welcome their little baby Caelyn into this world 9 days ago. Originally, I was to photograph the home birth, but when it was time to get into the water, Caelyn wasn’t waiting any more and Chelsea and Eric didn’t have time to call me. Once she decided she was going to enter this world, she didn’t wait another minute.
This little one was coming to the studio with her parents to do a lifestyle session but because she was such a sweetheart and so co-operative, I couldn’t resist photographing a number of sleepy poses as well. Isn’t she just darling? She was so full of smiles (gas), lol, that none of us could resist smiling and giggling right along side of her. I love photographing baby toes, and fingers, and little lips and oh those noses. So freakin’ adorable! I could have cuddled and rocked with her all day and of course I’d babysit this little one any time, but I know her Grandma Cathy would have something to say about it. I don’t blame her either.
During the session, we took the diaper off and handed her to her daddy. He was nervous because he was afraid she’d pee…and she did. All over his shirt. So when the shirt came off, I saw that Eric had some tatoos so I knew I had to photograph Caelyn with it. But when Caelyn peed, Eric wasn’t liking it at all and I was able to capture his expression. Turned out in the end, Caelyn peed on all of us so Eric was vindicated and loved it.
It was such a pleasure to meet this little one and capture her wonderful expressions…smiling, yawning, a tiny little bit of a cry just to let us know she had a voice, and of course her total look of contentment as she slept soundly in her parents arms or bundled up securely in a warm wrap.
Congratulations you two!
