I can remember a time as a little girl when dressing up made me feel like a princess. I would put on a pretty dress and instantly be transformed into a magical land where the flowers were perfect, ladybugs flew around everywhere, fairies were playing along side me, and I had the most beautiful voice in the land. I felt like I was in a mystical magical place where everything was wonderful. It was the best feeling anyone let alone a child could have. And for just a little while, I was taken back to that very place as Frankie and I wandered around the gardens in Gananoque playing together, dancing, and taking some photos along the way. It didn’t matter who was watching, because we were in our own world and couldn’t see them.
It was so much fun. Frankie, unlike me who dreamed of being a princess, dreams of being the Queen. Aim High girl. Why not?! Frankie says she’s a superhero. She gave me super powers as we walked along. I wasn’t able to keep them for long though because superpowers have to be kept safe. According to Frankie, she uses hers to helph people. She has such a big heart. Just the other day she was describing what your heart looked like and her heart is named Lily. She also informed me that if you have a very large heart, it’s because it’s a family heart and it happens because you love a lot of family.
This make believe magical land that reminds me of Alice’s wonderland, might only exist in Frankie’s mind, but somehow, she brought me along with her and I could see it too. While I followed her into her perfect little world, I was able to capture it’s beauty and Frankie’s wonderful angelic personality also.
