It started with a walk around downtown Kingston with their two awesome dogs. It’s one of my favorite things to do. Walk downtown Kingston. Especially if it is in the evening or on a Sunday morning and even more so if you are with company you love.
There are so many beautiful things to see everywhere in this City, but downtown is one of the most interesting spots. Rachel and Brandon feel similar to myself and so we decided this was where we needed to start for their engagement session. Of course we had to capture images of the whole family. Yes, dogs are family too. I believe they enjoyed their walk with us also. Especially when they received a little attention from the city folk. There is something about walking with your dog that brings out the best in other people. I always find it amazing that when we walk down the street, we walk on by one another and usually avoid eye contact. But walk with a dog, and some of the best conversations happen with a stranger then. Go to a dog park and see how much people converse with one another as their dogs run about and play. Why is that I wonder?
Anyway, Rachel and Brandon also wanted to catch the sunset over the water so we headed to Ontario Park where you can often catch some of the best sunsets in Kingston and this evening did not disappoint. The colors were amazing. In one direction we were able to observe the blues, purples and pinks and then in the opposite direction, we were able to see oranges and reds burning so hot. It’s a perfect way to end an engagement session as it’s so peaceful, beautiful and of course romantic. Romantic that is if I wasn’t there. lol
