The Flower Memorial Library was the perfect location for an Elopement. I absolutely was in awe.
When I first spoke to Lana , I loved the story of the two of them. How she and Andy had dated in their College years but then moved on with their lives in other directions only to have found one another again years later. What a heart warming love story. And I was thrilled to be able to capture it while they said their vows at the Flower Memorial Library. If you haven’t been, I say it’s a must to do. The architecture, and the history this building tells is amazing. The ceiling, the painted wall designs, the staircases and windows and the furnishings. Just beautiful. And while you’re there, choose a corner amongst all this history and read a good book.
So if you also don’t think you can do a wedding without spending a lot of money and still have it gorgeous, take a few tips from Lana. She wore a vintage skirt and top she had gone scouting for and then found a lovely little faux fur jacket. Flowers if you can believe it were from their local supermarket. Can you imagine?! By eloping, they were also able to make use of the local library. How could you not? This building inside and out had everything you could want and more. This wedding may have been simple but it certainly was gorgeous.
