It was such a pleasure meeting Anja Takera at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier hotel to photograph her designs. Anja is both a model and fashion designer and I had the opportunity to photograph her collection “The Royal Garden”. Ottawa and the Laurier provide an awesome backdrop for such beautiful designs. I was awestruck when I arrived at the hotel and my mind started racing and could imagine photographing a wedding here. So much gorgeous decor everywhere you turned. It was unfortunate that during this shoot we were limited to the 6th floor. Even still, this provided beautiful spaces with antique furniture, gorgeous windows and mirrors to use.
Anja was perfect to photograph. Her floral designed gown looked stunning on her and they outshine the location. I’m looking forward to seeing her next collection but for now here are a few from “The Royal Garden” collection.
