The Ambassador Hotel was the setting for the Wedding of Anne and Greg who have waited 18 years to tie the knot. When they met and joined their families, they knew that would be the priority. So they concentrated on raising their family together, and became Grandparents together. And now that the kids have all grown onto great lives of their own, they felt it was time to do something for themselves. Something they’d waited for a long time. I loved hearing about their story.
So one day, while in the same room mind you, Greg sent Anne an email saying “wanna get married?” and Anne responded by email saying “sure”. I think it’s so amazing that after 18 years of being with someone, you are still that in love and that comfortable with the person to know that you would still want to be married to them. So family and friends from as far as England and New York joined in the celebration at the Ambassador Hotel. It was a celebration like none other with so much laughter, a few tears, and dances with their children instead of their parents who also had a special dance of their own. I loved that this wedding was all about family and friends.
