The Barriefield Rock Garden was the perfect location for Heather and Josh’s engagement session, all except for the mosquitoes. I think by the end of the session we all had chunks of flesh bitten off us I’m sure. We’ve been having so much rain lately it’s no wonder there are mosquitoes everywhere. They were troupers though and so much fun!
These two are so happy together and so full of life and laughter it was contagious. I couldn’t stop laughing along with them. We met at one end of Barriefield and walked through the amazing pathways to the end. They enjoyed the little nooks and corners of the gardens all throughout. If you haven’t been, you really should take a walk through or enjoy a picnic. It’s even beautiful in the winter.
Heather and Josh are one couple that you can actually see how in love they are from the moment you meet them. They are so warm and welcoming. Not only can you outright see their connection but you can feel it also. I loved that they were able to be goofy and silly during the session with each other. It makes for great memories when you look back at the images and you remember that more than you remember your photographer saying to you to stand here, do this, laugh. They were so relaxed. They will be tying the knot in just a few weeks at Fort Henry. I’m excited to be capturing these moments for them. We’re going to have a lot of laughs for sure. Couples like Heather and Josh when they are this happy before the day, are even more happier on the wedding day. And they should be. They are the ones getting married. They are supposed to be the happiest people on the earth that day. I just know that when you’re this happy before hand, you’ll be ecstatic and so much fun during the wedding.
