Sibling bonds are like no other and Charlotte and Henry’s bond is so sweet. When Charlotte arrived at my studio, she was a little shy and a little upset with her mother’s choice in outfits. Too funny. Much like my daughter at a young age, she felt she could decide for herself.
But as siblings have it, her brother Henry was able to easily coax her into some awesome smiles and laughter. I love being able to capture the various personalities of a child. I love the images that are so natural and that aren’t the cheezy “smile for the camera” look.
I also love having the kids make faces and I often simply put my camera aside and play. It’s the best part of being a children’s photographer. It gives me an excuse to be silly and play…otherwise I’d simply look like some kinda crazy lady.
