Wandering around the streets of Brockville proved to be the perfect fall engagement session for this sweet lovely couple. Natures colors were in abundance and were so vibrant which made for the perfect backdrop. So too did the colors that were man made in the historic train tunnel. I loved that they chose to include the train tunnel for some of their images. It reminded me that this part of their life was the beginning of creating their life’s history. Years from now, this fall engagement session will be something they will look back on with their children, then their grandchildren, and with much health and happiness, their great grandchildren. These memories will be just one of the moments they will cherish for their lifetime and I am lucky enough to have been a small part of documenting these moments for them. I will also be very lucky to capture more of their memories to cherish and share on their wedding day in 2020.
Oh and this was the first session I’ve been chased away by the police! lol As we were coming back down this laneway, I noticed that behind my vehicle parked on the side of the roadway in front of a cemetery, a police vehicle had pulled in behind me. As I got in my car, I gave a little wave and a “oops” kind of smile and pulled away. So too did he, but thankfully, he went in the other direction. Maybe I should have had the officer throw my couple in the backseat of the cruiser for a few images. Making memories. it’s what it’s all about.
