We never really fully understand how quickly our children are going to grow when they are first placed into our arms. Those tiny little fingers and tiny little toes, how could it be possible that in a year they’d be putting everything they can grasp into their mouth and that those feet would be taking their first steps along the road to independence. We think about having a whole year to nurture them, cuddle them, and just be with them. We don’t realize how quickly a year goes by and how quickly that tiny little being will grow. By the time they’re a year old they definitely become their own little person.
Jaxson is just one of those little beings that is now a little person having a blast with his cake and wearing his daddy’s shoes. My how time flies when you’re having fun. Happy Birthday Jaxson.
