When a new little one is about to join the family, it’s always a time full of wonderment and excitement for everyone.   When that new little one happens to be the 2nd baby to join, it’s even more fun for everyone.  It becomes one of life’s lessons that we teach our children.  Where do babies come from?  haha  Not from storks my little one.

I love how a woman’s body changes so beautifully to be able to allow a tiny human being to grow and develop inside her.  It’s amazing that these changes can happen.  Being able to document that baby inside a mom for their family to reflect on with the child after he or she is born is wonderful and such a joy.  Capturing the beauty of a woman’s curves carrying a child is amazing.  However, even more amazing than that belly, is capturing the entire family and their excitement and anticipation for the arrival of their new family member growing inside that belly.

Photographing a family expecting a child in a lifestyle setting is absolutely a highlight.  Being in your own home together as a family capturing all that comes with being pregnant shows later in life just how much that child was loved even before they arrived.  Documenting the love between the parents and how much they are excited for their child’s arrival is a wonderful heirloom to pass down to that child later in life when they have their own family.  It shows the excitement, the joy, the anticipation as well as the quiet love they feel waiting to hold their little one for the first time in their lives.  What better way to tell your family’s story to be told through images later on in life.
