Rachel and Chris are engaged!! How exciting! As a wedding photographer in Kingston, one of the best things I have the opportunity to do is take a walk in the woods with couples. Exploring nature, chatting with one another, getting to know them is something I find so pleasant. I love hearing about how they met and what their wedding plans are. I love seeing how they respond to one another, their playfulness and their caring nature towards each other. And all the while I get to capture those moments for them to cherish for years to come and so they may share them with their children and for generations to come. I always leave these sessions feeling so wonderfully optimistic about life itself.
Being engaged somehow gives people this state of euphoria that explodes from within and photographing that excitement is so special. To top it off, Kingston provides some fantastic locations to explore with these engaged couples before their wedding day. Rachel and Chris will not be engaged for much longer though as they will be saying their “I do’s” this coming weekend and I’m thrilled for them. I’m also looking forward to capturing more moments of happiness for them as I’m sure that same more of that euphoria will be oh so present on Saturday as they join their families together.
He loves me, he loves me not…isn’t that what a daisy is for?
I promise to always try to make you smile, to make you laugh, to wipe away the tears and to enjoy life together.
