Wedding Venue | Branndyce + Alex’s Island Queen Wedding
When planning a wedding, one of the first considerations that determine the feel of the day is the wedding venue. Kingston has many amazing wedding venue choices that can make the decision that much more difficult. It will determine the number of guests to be invited, the type of food available to be served, and often times even the wedding gown.
Love is Love | Kingston Wedding Photographer
Love is Love
When two people love one another that is all that really matters. Love is Love. We’ve heard this saying before. And it’s true. Whether you’re a man and a woman whose hearts fall for one another, two women, or two men, you cannot control it. Nor are you supposed to.
A Couple In Love | Kingston Photographer
Do you need to be engaged to enjoy a Couples Session or simply in love?
To answer the above question, I believe not. A couple need only be in love to celebrate their feelings and have them captured in images. You need not yet be engaged.
Couples Lifestyle Session | Kingston Photographer
What is a Lifestyle Session?
Lifestyle sessions with couples has become one of my new favorite genres to photograph. Being able to hang out with a couple in their home can be so relaxing. There’s something to be said about having morning coffee or even pancakes and fresh fruit. It is so less stressful for the couple. Some people are very much intimidated being in front of the camera thinking they have to produce a fake smile. Even if that’s not really how we do things. Coming into your home becomes a time where we’re just friends hanging out capturing some fun filled amazing moments of joy.
Jessica + Stephanie | Kingston Wedding
Sometimes when you first meet a couple who are about to be married you just know how much they are in love. This was such the case with Jessica and Stephanie. When we met to discuss their wedding day they couldn’t stop beaming while looking at one another. Their joy shone through in every word they spoke. It was so evident that they were so truly in love. It was infectious and I knew right then I had to photograph their special day.
Lifestyle Family Session – Kingston Photographer
Coming into your home with camera in hand might seem a little uncomfortable at first. You worry that your house isn’t clean enough or it isn’t magazine worthy. Well, that really doesn’t matter. What matters is that we capture the connections you have with your family members in an environment that is your home.
Francesca Belle (Frankie) – 1st birthday
It’s your birthday Frankie and so I find myself reflecting on this past year.
You came into this world like no other. 8 lbs 3 oz. Face first you were so anxious to see the world before you. A star gazer they say. Even having to be resuscitated didn’t hold you back for long as they released you into your mother’s arms from the NICU less than 24 hours later. Even with bruises and swollen lips, you were the most beautiful baby in the world. You were so quiet…not even a cry for the first 24 hours. Even now your voice is so tiny, but it doesn’t stop you from being heard. You have ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes, but what big feet you have my dear.
Kingston Wedding Photographer | Chris & Rachel
Chris and Rachel’s wedding was held on one of the hottest days of the summer but regardless of the heat everyone had a wonderful time as they said their vows to one another at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in the beautiful city of Kingston. Rachel was walked down the isle by both her mother and father and you can see just how happy they both were for their daughter as they walked ear to ear with smiles. Meanwhile, waiting at the end of the isle was Chris also grinning from ear to ear to greet his lovely bride. What was very special about their ceremony was that they both presented the other one’s daughters with medallions as a symbol of their newly formed family and committed themselves to their children as well. Rachel’s Uncle who is a minister performed the ceremony. It was such a beautiful ceremony I had tears myself and I too couldn’t stop grinning ear to ear.
Water Engagement Session – Kingston Wedding Photographer
When Allie and Josh suggested we take her dad’s sailboat out onto the water for their engagement session, I was jumping with excitement. What a fantastic way to capture two people interacting with one another in the most natural of ways than to head out and participate in one of the things they love to do. Every couple should consider doing what they love doing with one another most when having their engagement session. In doing so, you become very at ease together and forget that there is a camera focused on you and then the connection the two of you share becomes ever so apparent. And that’s what I love doing. I love capturing that connection that only two people in love share with that other person.
Engaged |Kingston Wedding Photographer
Rachel and Chris are engaged!! How exciting! As a wedding photographer in Kingston, one of the best things I have the opportunity to do is take a walk in the woods with couples. Exploring nature, chatting with one another, getting to know them is something I find so pleasant. I love hearing about how they met and what their wedding plans are. I love seeing how they respond to one another, their playfulness and their caring nature towards each other. And all the while I get to capture those moments for them to cherish for years to come and so they may share them with their children and for generations to come. I always leave these sessions feeling so wonderfully optimistic about life itself.
